Triple Play, simply put is three talented musicians who love to play music. What you are treated to when you listen to this band is in no way simple. The minute they start to play you will experience a feeling of peace, relaxation and overall happiness. I say this because their sound is so perfectly blended, voices and instruments. They will take you through a spectrum of songs and artists from Beatles, Eagles, The Who, Neil Young to Stray Cats, Queen, and Jackson Browne. This only lists a small sampling of the amazing range this group can play. An extended instrumental of "Hotel California" was amazing and the sweet strings on "Norwegian Wood" was one of my favorites. By day they are three business professionals each in their respective careers. As Triple Play, Tom vocal/acoustic guitar, Steve bass, and Denis electric guitar, have been together three years each with varied music backgrounds. Watching and listening to them it is easy to tell they put their heart and soul into the music. The fullness and powerful sound that comes from their harmony at times make it hard to believe there are only three musicians performing. If you have not yet heard Triple Play, wander out and check out their next gig, I think they might become one of your favorite local bands.
