Their Chicago Italian Dishes are made from precious family recipes carried over from the Old Country. This creates unique texture, flavor, and aroma found nowhere else. Their Italian dishes are Italian, but more specifically, they are the best of the north side Chicago Italian food. If you have ever eaten an Italian beef sandwich near the Cub's stadium, ravioli at Papa Malianos, or Alfredo at Armand's, you will surely be in for a treat. But, if you have never had the pleasure, they invite you to experience it here at Pasquale's. Every item on their menu is special.

By Patricia Summerfield October 16, 2008 Pasquale's is a small international café located in West De Pere. The restaurant's building and décor remain true to De Pere's historic character. The eyes are kept busy for there is so much to look at. There are hand painted murals from the 1940's, many pictures, relic warplanes hanging from the ceilings, various old military hats on shelves, framed classic comic strips from the '60's, and a miniature leg lamp on top of the register from the classic Christmas movie, A Christmas Story. They also have two huge street signs with names from the streets of Chicago near the famous Wrigley Field (Addison and Lake Shore Dr). The restaurant has a long bar with stools, some of which are frayed, a few small tables, which were crowded, in between the bar and the wall, and a large curved red vinyl booth in front of the window. The menu is huge and low priced with Chicago Italian dishes made from scratch. They have a full bar and also have many beers on tap. Our server was nice, but impersonal. I ordered the Chicago style hot dog which includes two hot dogs and fries for $6.25. I asked if I could substitute cole slaw for the fries instead and they were very accommodating to my request. My husband ordered the Spicy Italian sausage with red sauce on an 8" French loaf for $4.95. My hot dogs were made from 100% beef on poppy seed buns with mustard, bright green relish, onions, pickle spears, tomatoes, and sport peppers. The hot dogs were made in Chicago and tasted just like the ones I have eaten there, mmmm. The Italian sausage was done well and was a large portion of good quality meat. The owner, who brought our food out, had a sense of humor and was very friendly. The restaurant has a unique atmosphere, and is a good spot to grab a beer and a bite to eat.
