**Scroll Down for GBNightLife Review of Mollies Way**
Mollies Way’s uplifting, guitar-driven rock is created by vocalist and guitarist Pete Kornowski, lead guitarist Joe Cheslock, bassist Josh Peterson, and drummer Zak Dey, four friends who began in the obscurity of a neighborhood basement in 2007.
Crediting their eclectic rock sounds to their many and diverse musical influences, the four piece now plays local shows in the Green Bay area, and have recently completed a self produced debut album.

By TJ August 13, 2009 The thing I love about this town is once your eyes recover from all the green and gold, you can see all the culture and uniqueness that makes up this town. Green Bay is not only a football paradise but a musical oasis as well. Why? I'm not sure, but it always has been. IQs bar on University was comfortably packed tonight and the band Silent Planet had thoroughly warmed up the crowd for Mollies Way. I have spent years listening to indie and alternative music and Green Bay's "Mollies Way" have taken the Indie Rock genre a little further on a brilliant idea. Cool, original, indie rock with unique vocals and amazing guitar solos. They first come off as a more straight forward, four chord rock band, the guitars are loud, distorted, and thick and while Pete is rocking at rhythm, lead guitarist Joe Cheslock is setting up the parts for some wicked lead, blues, wah wah, slide even straight up noise. Pete Kornowski, vocalist and rhythm guitar player is almost passe when he sings over these songs. Like he is in a cool all of his own, a mellow rhythmic cool, that at times can have a touch of twang. The rhythm section has it locked down too with Josh Peterson on bass, the Fender Jaguar bass and Zach Dey hitting it heavy on the 5 piece drum kit. Their original tunes are an extension of good old power chord rock and roll with driven lead and powerful rhythm and you can see the influence behind this when they cover a few early tunes by the Beatles. Outstandingly, Mollies Way have locally recorded a full length EP at Henry's Music on Military Ave. "The Salt and the Season" is available for FREE download on the band's website and the access and ease of download is very awesome. It sounds really good! I have been rocking out to their CD in my car all week and I have to mention that Mollies Way is great music for the open road and even better live. Hey Mollies Way - you guys think you are even more cool for giving your tunes away online for free? You're damn right!
