I just had the freshest and highest quality sushi at KoKo's Green Bay Bar & Lounge. From their sides menu I ordered Joe's Salad, from their selection of the Nigiri Sushi I ordered the Unagi which consists of 2 pieces of fresh water eel on rice, and then from the Specialty Maki I ordered the R-30 roll. My salad was a combination of red and green cabbage mixed with raw ramen, cashews, black sesame seeds, and a house vinaigrette dressing. It was a lovely combination of flavors with a crunchy texture to it. My unagi (Japanese for fresh water eel) was outstanding and the portions were a nice size. The R-30 roll is made of unagi, tamago (egg), tobiko (flying fish roe), shitake mushrooms, avocado, sansho (Japanese pepper), and garnished in green onions black sesame seeds and eel sauce. The flavor and texture were exquisite.
They also offer a wonderful wine and drink list. The service was good with the exception that the server forgot my salad. The restaurant has a sophisticated atmosphere with great jazz playing in the background. The décor has a unique ambiance with waterfalls on the walls, potted trees, and a huge hand painted pillar. Koko's gives you the feeling of being in a large metropolitan city.
