Jersey's Sports Bar & Italian Grill is known throughout the area for their genuine, award winning italian cuisine and pizza. Their facilities include a full dining area, a bar equipped with large televisions for the viewing of your favorite sporting events, and a game room.
By Patricia Summerfield December 9, 2009 Jersey's Sports Bar and Italian Grill is located in historic downtown De Pere. As you walk in, towards the right, is a bar lounge area and straight back there are a few pool tables and game machines. On the left side is the restaurant. The restaurant still has the original old wooden floors and the inner walls of exposed brick are also original. Hanging on all the surrounding walls are various De Pere sport uniforms showing off their teams. It is a fairly large casual restaurant with many booths and tables. The tables all have glass tops over black linen and on each tablecloth is a different cloth runner with different designs of sports equipment.
One of Jersey's signature dishes is their pizza, so I ordered the 15” Supreme Pizza for $15.00 and then I added 2 additional toppings for $1.75 each, as for a beverage I ordered a soda for $1.50. The Supreme comes with fresh mushrooms, onions, sausage, green peppers and black olives. For my extra toppings, I ordered pepperoni and more fresh mushrooms. I noticed there is a saying printed on their menu, “Eating this pizza has been known to cause bad fake accents,” cute. On all the tables are condiments for your pizza. You have the hot pepper flakes, dried parmesan cheese, and salt and pepper shakers. All the condiments were filled, regularly rotated and very clean. My pizza was brought out and put on top of a metal stand. My pizza was baked just right. The crust was crisp all the vegetables were nicely sliced not diced and cooked thoroughly; there was a nice even amount of all the ingredients. The supreme had a wonderful flavor and was very satisfying, the service throughout was friendly and attentive.
