**Scroll Down for Editorial Review of Harbor Fish Market Green Bay**
Ten years ago we opened our first Harbor Fish Market & Grille in Baileys Harbor bringing a taste of New England to Door County. Providing the best and freshest seafood available, great steaks and meats plus a good sprinkling of vegetarian entrees – all prepared with fun and creative ingredients to provide our guests with a unique, tasteful experience. The Green Bay location of Harbor Fish Market & Grille opened late summer 2008 and we have been thrilled with the community’s response to our menu selections and service style. Harbor Fish Market & Grille – Green Bay – is open for dinner seven nights a week all year long. It’s the perfect location for everything from that dinner with business associates, to a celebration with your family or an intimate dinner with the love of your life. The waterfront location and view is unrivaled in Wisconsin and the history of the building lends itself to romance and celebrations.

By Patricia Summerfield June 6, 2009 Last evening I dined on scrumptious seafood while enjoying the most captivating view of the Bay, it was a very gratifying experience. Harbor Fish Market is located on the Bay of Green Bay near UWGB; the restaurant specializes in seafood with Chef Jonathan Beck in the kitchen, creating the most relishingly good dishes on their menu. The restaurant's ambiance is warm and cozy with a quaint bar that carries an extensive wine list and specialty cocktails as well. The interior has knotty pine paneling and beamed ceilings with contemporary paintings and metal artwork of fish on the walls. By the hostess stand is an adorable stone fireplace and as you walk into the dining room you are wowed by the massive picture windows with the most amazing views of the bay and a great view of the gorgeous sunsets. No matter where you are seated you would get a very good view of the water. The back wall of the dining room is all mirrors which still gives the diner with their backs to the windows a great view. They also offer outdoor dining on a large patio in the back of the restaurant with hanging potted flowers adorning the deck.
I had a glass of wine at the bar before going into dine and the bartender was extremely outgoing and very knowledgeable about the menu and specials of the evening. My table was covered with a white linen table cloth, a frosted votive lit candle, and a clear glass short vase with floating flowers in it. My server was amiable and pleasant and was efficient throughout the whole dinner. A basket of large dinner rolls were brought out; they were warm, light, and flakey and tasted delicous. For an appetizer I ordered the shrimp cocktail for $8.95, it was elegantly served in a jumbo martini glass with crushed ice. There were six jumbo shrimp laid on top with the cocktail sauce centered in the middle. The shrimp were fresh and tender with a slightly light and salty flavor and the sauce had a hint of horseradish added to it which gave it a nice savory taste. I also ordered their crisp green salad for $6.95; it was a beautifully tossed salad with mixed field greens, toasted pecans, crumbled blue cheese, cherry tomatoes, and fresh sliced cucumbers with sherried vinaigrette. It was fresh and the pairing of the toasted pecans with the blue cheese and the lightly mixed dressing was very pleasing. I then ordered a bowl of French onion soup for $6.95; it was a large bowl with a thick rich covering of melted cheese and large croutons on top. The soup was condensed with thick broth and onions, and had a tantalizing flavor. For my entree I chose the sea scallops for $24.95 they were served with a light sweet sauce made with blood oranges and sauteed vegetables and a risotto cake on the side. The scallops were pan seared and lightly browned; they were extremely tender and the sauce had a subtle orange taste that was nicely integrated. The vegetables consisted of thinly sliced carrots, red pepper, and zucchini. They were delicately sauteed and had a wonderful flavor. The rice cake consisted of a ball of risotto lightly fried to a light brown; the texture was very creamy and luscious. I must say all the portions were very generous. For desert I chose the flourless chocolate cake for $8.00. It was attractively presented and tasted heavenly, nothing like smooth rich dark chocolate accompanied with a little sweet whip cream, all their deserts are made on the premises. Beginning June 22 Harbor Fish Market will begin serving lunch.
