There was a 20 minute wait so I ordered a glass of Pinot Noir and was pleasantly surprised that I was poured a full glass not just 1/4full. The wine also had a nice smooth flavor to it. destroying renovating my kitchen, my living room is covered floor to ceiling with plastic, and well plaster too. This makes it VERY difficult to cozy up on my VERY comfy couch in my VERY comfy jammies with a VERY yummy cocktail and enjoy the evening. What's a girl to do? Go to Plae Bistro, I say! (Truthfully, one of my girlfriends suggested the place, and I'm happy she did.)
I didn't know too much about Plae Bistro; just that it's located in the Bellevue area and I thought it was mainly a food restaurant type place - I was way off. While they do have a great lunch and dinner menu to offer, I was more interested in the spirited beverage selection. Plae Bistro is a quaint locale that is rectangular in shape. When you walk in the front doors you immediately enter the dining room with plenty of tables to cover a dinner crowd. Towards the back is the bar. The lights are on low and innocuous music is in the background so as to not interfere with quiet conversation. The bar part is cute and consists of dark wood. The Ten-O-One Club is located near downtown East Green Bay, and has been renovated into a beautiful pub and restaurant. The building is tastefully done with much attention to detail with rich dark woodwork, exposed brick walls, beautifully redone hardwood flooring and ceramic tiles. Ceiling fans and silk green plants are located throughout the building. The tables have nice laminated tops and modern frosted votive candles for decoration. Next to the hostess stand is an eye-catching huge statue of a chubby chef which blends in nicely with the style of decor. The atmosphere is fun and cozy with jazzy blues playing in the background and all the staff was happily bustling about. I also appreciated the fact that the restaurant was nice and toasty warm inside and not chilly, especially in these winter months.
