By Patricia Summerfield August 25, 2010 I went to lunch at the new delicatessen, Parisi's, which is housed in the same building as Kavarna's. The two restaurants are under the same ownership and share the same kitchen but Kavarana's serves vegetarian cuisine and is on the right side while Parisi's is on the left side. The location of these two restaurants is in the historic Broadway District on the West Side of Green Bay. The interior of the restaurant walls are bare exposed pale brick with a massive floor to ceiling window at the front with a small counter for extra seating with red plastic stools looking out to the street... This week's adventure took me to Saint Michael's Pub in Allouez. A couple friends and I were out and about on a Saturday night and it was kinda late but we wanted to stop somewhere for a couple beers. Cheap beers, that is. One of my girlfriends suggested St. Mike's since it was so close to where we live. She told me it was across from Jimmy Seas. I know where Jimmy's is but I couldn't recall seeing this bar whenever I drive by that area. But sure enough, there was St. Mike's in all its cheap beer glory.
