During the Packer season I missed out. I missed out on several bars I had full intention of checking out due to the fact that they were known "Packer bars." Honestly the time slipped by and now here we are on the cusp of springtime. I still wanted to go to a so-called Packer bar anyway - which I did. You could say I'm really late or that I'm incredibly early and totally psyched that I couldn't wait another minute to go to Anduzzi's. Let's go with the latter, shall we?
First off, let me tell you about Anduzzi's. It's more than your average Packer only bar. Way more. They offer dollar burger night on Mondays, Karaoke night on Tuesdays, and trivia night on Wednesdays. Plus, during this March Madness time Anduzzi's has you covered. On their monster flat screens you can watch Kansas demolish all the other teams, err… I mean watch all the games. Let's pretend for a minute that cheap burgers, karaoke, trivia, and sport games don't interest you, what else could this place possibly offer; you could play the arcade games, improve on your dart throwing skills, stuff your face full of free popcorn, look at all the memorabilia of the Packerness that is Green Bay or just sit back and people watch. Anduzzi's is not just a bar to go to during the football season; it's a fun bar for any season.
My crew and I arrived on a Monday night where their domestic pints are $1 and I know they have drink specials pretty much every other night of the week. On tap they have Miller Lite, Bud, Bud Light, New Glaurus, Fat Tire, some Leinie's, Stella, Labatts, and Point Pilsner. And of course they have more in bottles and a full liquor bar to float your boat. In fact, they kinda have two bars there. There is the main one that is huge and in the middle of the building and then off to the side is a smaller fully stacked bar. A mini-bar, if you will. When we went, it wasn't open but I bet they have to open that one up on busy nights. There are plenty of places to sit around either of the bars along with hi top and regular top tables. As I said before there are lots of large black and white photos of the stadium and players that are cool to look at. Even if football isn't your thing, it's still neat to see the history of it all.
We had a fun time at Anduzzi's, we will definitely be back but whether it's during Packer season we'll just have to see ;)
